Your gifts, from small to large, will be put to work right away to support your local commmunity. Many donors wish to set up a fund (our donors name the fund) that will become an everlasting endowment for the community.
Years to Build Up Fund: Five
A period of time typically allowed to build up to minimal fund amount.
Minimal Fund Amount: $5,000 or more depending on the type of fund.
To establish a permanent endowment fund, this amount is necessary to begin grantmaking.

Community Foundation Mission Statement
The NCCF exists to encourage local giving and the development of permanent endowed funds to stimulate stronger, more vibrant communities throughout Nicholas County, now and forever.

Broadly focused on a specific area of interest, such as youth, conservation, education, health, or other social issue. |

Scholarship Fund
Advancing education for students in two- to four-year colleges or universities. |
 | Designated Fund
A fund for a specific charity or church created by a donor. |
 | Agency Fund
An endowment fund created by the leaders of a charity or church. |
 | Unrestricted Named Fund
A fund that helps each community meet changing needs and programs. |
 | Donor Advised Fund
A fund that involves you in grantmaking reccommendations.
