To establish a permanent endowment fund, this amount is necessary to begin grantmaking.

Community Foundation Mission Statement
The mission of the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley, Inc. is:
To increase a permanent endowment that can respond to the current and future needs of the Upper Ohio Valley. We accomplish this mission via several ways:
** We work with donors and their financial advisors to provide a flexible, efficient and lasting way for them to benefit their community.
** We are a faithful steward and prudent manager of philanthropic assets.
** We initiate responses that focus on the needs within our community.
** We make grants that will have significant impact upon the recipients.

Funds Offered
	Field of Interest Fund Broadly focused on a specific area of interest, such as youth, conservation, education, health, or other social issue.
	Scholarship Fund Advancing education for students in two- to four-year colleges or universities.
	Designated Fund A fund for a specific charity or church created by a donor.
	Agency Fund An endowment fund created by the leaders of a charity or church.
	Unrestricted Named Fund A fund that helps each community meet changing needs and programs.
	Donor Advised Fund A fund that involves you in grantmaking reccommendations.
